EurOmax Resources Ltd. (TSX: EOX) is a Canadian mining company, focused on identifying, acquiring and developing mineral resources in Southeastern Europe.
It primarily explores for gold, copper, and silver metals.
The company holds interests in 3 properties in Bulgaria, including the Trun property, which covers an area of 67 square kilometers; the Breznik property that covers an area of 19.1 square kilometers; and the Rakitovo property, which covers an area of 33.3 square kilometers.
It also has interest in the Ilovitza property that covers an area of 5 square kilometers in Macedonia; and the KMC property, which covers an area of 42 square kilometers in Serbia.
EurOmax Resources Ltd. is based in Vancouver, Canada.
The Ilovitza Property is in southeast Macedonia, in the municipality of Bosilovo, approximately 25km east of the border with Bulgaria and 18km west of city of Strumica.
The Ilovitza Property was previously held and explored by Phelps Dodge Exploration (PDX) who drilled between 2004 and 2006. In 2008 EurOmax signed an agreement with PDX to enter into an option agreement to acquire 100% of the Ilovitza Property.
EurOmax has completed twenty diamond drillholes on the property between 2007 and 2011. 28 holes drilled to October 2011 including drill hole EOIC 11-18 that intersected 336 m grading 0.30% Cu and 0.37 g/t Au.
The NI 43-101 compliant inferred resources total 374 million tonnes containing 0.21% Cu and 0.32g/t Au with a 0.25% Cu Eq. Cutoff.
Trun Gold project
Intrusion-related gold project on 67 square km on 100% EurOmax exploration license. 178 holes drilled on multiple targets.
The company's NI43-101 report dated Jan 31, 2011 outlines an inferred resource of 91.2 million tonnes grading 0.7 grams per tonne at a cut off of 0.3 grams per tonne, for 2.1 million ounces of gold.
