Midlands Minerals Corp.
Midlands is a growth oriented and value based gold exploration company operating in Ghana and Tanzania, two stable countries with a history of gold mining. Midlands’ top priority project is the fully permitted Sian gold project in Ghana. The Sian property contains Esaase and Ampeha, two previously producing open pit mines with a resource with significant growth potential. Midlands’ contiguous Kwahu Praso project, which was once part of Sian, contains extensions of the Esaase and Ampeha trends. Sian and Praso are just 30 kilometres northeast of Newmont Mining’s +8.7 million-ounce Akyem gold deposit.
Midlands’ second priority project is the highly prospective Kaniago gold project, which is located on the Asankrangwa Gold Belt and is contiguous to two past open pit gold producers – Abore to the north and Obotan to the south.
Midlands also holds highly prospective licences for gold and diamonds in the Lake Victoria Goldfields in Tanzania, including its advanced Itilima Gold Project, which lies within the Geita-Bulyanhulu-Sekenke Trend, which is host to over 40 million ounces in gold reserves.
The Company has a highly qualified management and technical team with broad African experience and extensive experience in the countries in which the Company operates.

Ghana: Sian/Kwahu Praso Gold Project
The Kwahu Praso Concession ("Praso") is approximately 109 square kilometres in size and lies on the north eastern end of the Ashanti Gold Belt, just 30 kilometres northeast of Newmont Mining's Akyem gold deposit. Contiguous to Praso (and surrounded by Praso on three sides) is our 50 square kilometre gold property, Sian, which is a past gold producer with a renewable 30 year mining lease, an existing CIL plant and all the infrastructure in place.
The Sian property contains Esaase and Ampeha, two previously producing open pit gold mines with significant growth potential. Kwahu Praso, which was once part of Sian, contains extensions of the Esaase and Ampeha trends.
Sian was in production from 2000 until the end of 2003 under previous owners, when the low price of gold at the time together with management issues caused the previous owners to cease operating. Midlands was able to acquire the property and immediately commenced geochemical surveys on both properties.
Ghana: Kaniago Gold Project
Kaniago is a gold property 46 square kilometres in size, located on the Asankrangwa Gold Belt and contiguous to two past open pit gold producers, Obotan to the south and Abore to the north.
Tanzania: Itilima Gold and Diamond Projects
Midlands Minerals holds a 75% interest in the Itilima Gold and Diamond Project, which consists of four contiguous licences totalling 65 square kilometres in the Lake Victoria Goldfields in Tanzania. Midlands interest is through its subsidiary company in Tanzania – the Itilima Mining Company Limited.
The Itilima Property is located just 25 kilometres south of Petra Diamonds' (formerly De Beers) Williamson Diamond Mine at Mwadui in the Shinyanga kimberlite field in northern Tanzania. Mwadui is the largest mined kimberlite in the world, which has been mined continuously since its discovery in 1940 and has produced in excess of 17 million carats of high quality diamonds, including rare pink diamonds.
