US Gold production up 3% Y/Y in Sep: USGS

Based on unrounded data, the average daily gold production for U.S. mines was 622 kg in September 2015, about 607 kg in August 2015, and 567 kg for year-to-date 2015.

NEW YORK (Bullion Street): Production of gold by U.S. mines was about 18,700 kilograms in September, a slight decrease compared with August production and a 3% increase compared with that of September 2014, according to latest data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).

Based on unrounded data, the average daily gold production for U.S. mines was 622 kg in September 2015, about 607 kg in August 2015, and 567 kg for year-to-date 2015.

Gold production in the first 9 months of 2015 was at 155,000 kilograms, 3% less than that of the same period in 2014, data showed.
